Le 26 juin 2025, à l’occasion de La Nuit des Galeries et Musées au Maroc, j’ai eu le plaisir d’être invitée par KUBA Concept Store à animer l’une des chambres de l’hôtel Onomo. Nous avons imaginé un concept immersif intitulé « La chambre habitée par l’art ».
L’idée était simple mais forte : donner l’illusion que la chambre avait été habitée par quelqu’un… un quelqu’un dont l’univers était entièrement traversé par l’art. Une façon de faire entrer la création dans l’intime, dans le quotidien, et de donner une nouvelle force à ma démarche de peindre sur des objets usuels.
Dès l’entrée, une valise peinte à la main accueillait les visiteurs. Dans la penderie, un caftan, une veste et un kimono suspendus évoquaient une élégance vivante, prête à être portée. Au sol, une paire de babouches — nées d’une belle collaboration avec Barok Babouche — attendaient discrètement.
À côté de la machine à café, une tasse peinte à la main ajoutait une touche d’art au geste le plus banal. Sur le bureau, un porte-crayons et un porte-feuille complétaient l’univers. Un sac reposait sur la chaise, comme oublié à la hâte. Et enfin, sur le lit, un costume peint à la main et sa pochette imposaient leur présence, à la fois élégante et singulière.
Et bien sûr, au mur, une peinture originale, comme une signature visuelle de tout cet univers décliné. Une œuvre expressive, mélangeant pop art et cubisme, dans laquelle se retrouvent mes couleurs franches, mes formes déconstruites, et ma vision d’un art vivant.
Cette installation m’a profondément marquée. Elle traduisait parfaitement ce que je défends : un art qui quitte les musées, qui sort des galeries, qui s’infiltre dans nos vies. Un art que l’on touche, que l’on porte, que l’on utilise. Un art qui voyage. Un art qui habite.

When Art Moves In – Immersive Installation at Onomo for the Night of Galleries and Museums
On June 26th, during Morocco’s Night of Galleries and Museums, I was invited by KUBA Concept Store to take over one of the rooms at Onomo Hotel. We called the experience “The Room Inhabited by Art.”
The concept immediately resonated with me: to create the illusion that the room had been lived in—not just by anyone, but by someone whose entire life was immersed in art. It was a poetic way to bring my practice of painting on everyday objects to life in an intimate, lived-in setting.
At the entrance, a hand-painted suitcase set the tone. Inside the wardrobe hung a caftan, a jacket, and a kimono, as if waiting to be worn. On the floor, a pair of babouches—a collaboration with Barok Babouche—sat quietly, ready to step into the day.
Next to the coffee machine, a hand-painted mug brought a burst of creativity to the morning ritual. On the desk, a wallet and a pencil holder blended art with utility. A bag was casually draped over the chair. And finally, on the bed, a hand-painted suit and matching pocket square gave the feeling that someone had just stepped out, leaving their world behind.
And of course, on the wall, a painting — bold, expressive, and unmistakably mine. A mix of pop art and cubism, it tied the room together visually, echoing my signature style: vibrant colors, deconstructed forms, and unapologetic emotion.
This project was deeply meaningful to me. For the first time, my work on different supports wasn’t just showcased — it was lived. It captured everything I believe in: that art should leave the gallery, escape the museum, and enter real life. It should be touched, worn, used, and seen. It should travel, move, and belong to everyone.
This room wasn’t just decorated — it was inhabited by art. And I can’t wait to keep exploring where art will live next.
